Thornclan is one of the four clans of the mountainside. It is led by Moonstar.
Description[]
Nighclan territory spans the steeper side of the mountain. The cats that live there are dark in pelt to blend in with the stone and shadows. They are built tough with thick fur. There are plenty of trees and stone to climb on as well as a waterfall that hides a secret entrance to moon falls. Cats that hunt here tend to catch birds and small rodents over fish or rabbit. Though there are fish in the stream that cuts through the middle of the territory.

Nightclan Camp[]
The camp is situated in what might have been an old rock quarry, but there are no monster paths leading out of it. It’s a mostly sandy patch in the middle with the cliffs at different heights around it. The leader's den is situated at one of the taller cliff faces, with a tree snaking its way up the side of the cliff face giving leaders an easier way to climb up to their den.
Situated a bit below that in a cave like fashion are two holes leading into the mountain. These are the warriors den which has two entrances. It opens up to a pretty wide space for all the cats to curl up and get some rest. (the cave is only a few feet off the ground).
Just below that are the elders' cave, half dug out of the ground, and the nursery, which is half located in a thorn thicket for protection. The camp wraps around itself and is circular in shape. Near the elders' den a small shallow river outlet flows slowly and turns out of camp.
Moonfalls (Meeting Place)[]
Where the gathering is located. The leaders sit up on the cliff face a few tail-lengths above the clan cats to spread news of what has been happening in the territories. There is a pool of water next to where the cats gather, and surrounding the soft grasses of the meeting place are bushes and other Nightclan territory fauna. Catmint grows here during the warmer months. From Highledge the clan leaders can see most of the territories of the valley. Turning towards the mountain, they can see the high cliffs above that would lead way to Timberclan territory.
Moonfalls was highly fought over in the early days of the clan for ownership of the path to the moon pool and the abundance for catmint.
Training Shore[]
This is a sandy beach next to the river. Perfect for training apprentices without getting them hurt.
Bear Tree[]
A tall tree that had been hit by lightning and is leaning on another tree. It looks like a bear. Nightclan cats use it for tree hopping training, as it makes it easy for apprentices to get up to the higher trees.
